By Justin, Owner & Operator

My name is Justin. I’m from Central Nebraska, and I have lived here pretty much my entire life.

My story in aviation didn’t start in a classroom; it started in the cockpit. I began flying at a young age, sitting alongside my dad in our J-3 Cub. When I was eight or nine, he bought a Stearman, and that was the moment I fell in love with vintage aircraft and the art of biplane flying. Since those early days, I have had the privilege of flying numerous antique and vintage airplanes, mastering the skills that only those historic machines can teach.

I turned that early passion into a professional career. Over the years, I have flown extensively under Part 135 operations—from flying Medevac missions in King Airs to piloting Pilatus PC-12s. For the last three years, I have been flying executive charter in Learjets.

This career has given me a unique perspective on the world. I have seen the whole country a few times over, along with Canada, Central America, and most of the islands between Florida and South America. But no matter how far or fast I fly, my heart remains in General Aviation.

My life’s passion is flight, and my calling is to share it with others.

That is why I founded Shadow Wings Aviation. I am looking forward to gaining clients, but more importantly, I am looking forward to making lifelong friendships. I am not here to make money on the backs of people who are passionate about flying. I am here to boost your potential and help you succeed.

My goal is to use the relationships and networks I have built over a lifetime to help get everyday people into affordable airplanes and to build the General Aviation community—one pilot and one plane at a time.
